Jordyn Webb

We had a great time shooting little Jordyn's 1 year portraits. She is such a beautiful baby with such a bright spirit! Jordyn has been through a lot her first year, but she has been so strong through it all. This little girl is going to have such an amazing testimony. I am truly amazed how God has brought the Webb family through this tough time.

Here is their story.

After a some what difficult delivery, I gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Jordyn Elizabeth Webb, on July 25, 2010 @ 8:03 am. She weighed 6 lbs 13 ozs and was 18.5 in long. We fell in love with her instantly. We brought her home two days after she was born. She was healthy and the perfect baby!

At 9 days old, she stopped breast feeding. We got very concerned and started feeding by medicine dropper. She was also sleeping a lot. Being first time parents, we didn't think too much about it. We've been told the first couple weeks they sleep a lot and not feeding was okay at first.

We took her in to the doctor office at 11 days old. When we got there, we found out that her oxygen level was very low and breathing was irregular. A chest x-ray was done and showed that her heart was a little larger than it should be. She was sent to FGH by ambulance and hooked up to a ventilator. She had an Eco cardiogram done. This showed that she had a problem with the arteries coming off of her heart. She was then flown to Children's Hospital in Jackson, MS. They diagnosed her with Hemitruncus and said she would need surgery to repair. We had to wait a little over a week to have the surgery.

In the time since the surgery, we have gone through many battles. She has had several infections in her lungs. She got a fungal infection that caused some tissue damage in her lungs. She has had three Broviac lines and a G-tube inserted. She has had a surgery called a Nissen for acid reflux.

Through it all, Jordyn has been a fighter. We have come a long way and have a long way to go but we'll make it through it all. God, family, and friends have been so helpful in this time of sickness. Thank you all for your prayers and support!

Agerton Wedding

Saturday, July 9, 2011, my husband and I photographed the wedding of Robert & Brittney Agerton at the Malbis Community Center. The wedding was put together so well; their personalities were uniquely shown through choice of decor.
Also, it was by far the greatest reception food I've ever had at a wedding :)
Here are a few favorites..
